SIAM delegations are discussing the policies being framed by Bangladesh for manufacturing vehicles and opportunities for growth of the Indian automobile business in Bangladesh with BAAMA leaders at Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre on 15th November 2022 at 5:30 PM.

Mr. Taskeen Ahmed, Vice-President of BAAMA led the delegation which was attended by Vice-President Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, General Secretary Mr. Mohammad Ali Deen, and Advisor S M Abul Kalam Azad. While the 10 membered SIAM delegations weres represented by Deputy Director Mr. Kartike Karwal.

The “India-Bangladesh Auto Component Show” was organized by Bangladesh Automobile Assemblers and Manufacturers Association (BAAMA) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital.

Honorable State Minister for Industries of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Kamal Ahmed Majumder, MP inaugurated the program by cutting the ribbon.

Also present were Hon’ble Indian High Commissioner H.E. Mr. Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy, Executive Member of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, Mr. Abhijit Chowdhury, President of India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad. The event was co-hosted by India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) and Indian High Commission, Dhaka.
